Judge Jasmin Lilly-Spells is honored to continue serving Clark County with compassion, integrity, and experience. She believes in upholding the law, protecting public safety, and treating every person who comes before the court with dignity and respect.

A graduate of the University of California, Irvine, and the University of Nevada, Las Vegas School of Law, Judge Lilly-Spells brings a broad understanding of the justice system to the bench. She currently presides over criminal and civil matters and previously served as the Veterans Treatment Court Judge, ensuring accountability while connecting veterans with the structure and resources needed to succeed. While on the bench, she has also served on education committees and as a truancy judge, addressing issues early to strengthen families and support student success.

​Before becoming a judge, she served as Chief Deputy Public Defender in Clark County, a volunteer mediator, and a court-appointed advocate for children—experience that gives her a clear understanding of how legal decisions affect victims, defendants, families, and the community as a whole.

​

Judge Lilly-Spells is a mother of four, a longtime Las Vegas resident, and the daughter of a small business owner, giving her firsthand insight into how the courts impact working families and local businesses. She remains actively involved in the community, volunteering regularly in schools and mentoring youth as a teen advisor with Jack and Jill of America.

​

Judge Lilly-Spells is committed to enforcing the law fairly, making thoughtful decisions grounded in the Constitution, and ensuring that justice in Clark County is both firm and fair.
